Read the complete route
The answer guide displays the full route immediately, with the changed letter underlined at each step. There are no hint levels to open. Match the date and starting word to the puzzle you are solving.
Understand the word list
Poopstep computes a shortest route within its own four-letter word list. This can differ from a route supplied by Poople.io, which has its own dictionary and may reject some words used here. The guide is independent of the official game.
Think in word families
Try vowels and common endings, then check consonants in each fixed position. Matching another letter in POOP does not guarantee a shorter route: a useful detour can move away from the destination before it creates a connection. Keep every step a real word and avoid repeating a loop. You cannot swap letter positions or change two letters together.
Know which hints count
The game’s hint button records help for your current step. Viewing the same hint again at that step does not count twice. Reading a public answer page or using the separate solver does not change a game’s hint count, time or streak. It also does not submit moves for you: the game still checks every word you enter.
